We are a minority woman-owned full-service U.S. Customs Brokerage, that was developed on one simple Motto, ‘Borders made simple’. Our overall goal was to search for areas of improvement in all aspects related to trade and simplify the process down to a perfected science. · Responsible for Warehouse Management System (WMS)

· Understands the WMS database structure.

· Design and optimize End to End SAP WM/EWM processes for the client.

· Performs advanced configuration of the WMS.

· Leads company initiatives to improve WMS functionality.

· Responsible for building and/or maintaining a safe work culture.

· Coordinates technical support for site or network operations and systems.

· Serves as site lead for systems implementations and modifications.

· Oversees activities of warehouse operations including training, shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety.

· Warehouse Inventory:

- Making sure the merchandise is located properly, pallets are organized accordingly, and that there is no trash around the warehouse.

· Warehouse Reports in Christophorus.

· Warehouse Audits:

- Making sure everything is correct against Load Orders.

- Reviewing that pallets are labeled properly (economic/Inbond) and organized.

· Review and verify shipment orders with clients:

- Making sure things are loaded properly, as well as receiving approval of any loads that need double stack, etc.

· Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issue that may arise.

· Maintain legible and accurate records and logs as required:

- Being able to have a log of mistakes and corrective actions within the warehouse.

· Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

· Maintain high levels of accuracy in your daily department operations.

· Monitor warehouse performance and quality standards.

· Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local ordinances affecting this position.

· Ensure timely processing of system information and proper documentation.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Education & Certification

· Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management; or an equivalent of work experience.

Experience

· 4 years of experience in managing a Warehouse Management System.

· 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics field.

· 4 years of experience managing IT systems.

· 5 years of experience managing people/projects.

· 3 years of experience in SAP is required.

· 3 years of experience in related field.

· Management experience required.

· Knowledge of warehouse procedures.

Communication Skills

· Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management employees and customers.

· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
